With temperatures reaching record-breaking highs this week, employees at CAA North & East Ontario (CAANEO) are working harder than ever to help stranded motorists get back on the road as quickly and safely as possible.



OTTAWA, June 14, 2010 - CAA SPONSORED R.I.D.E. PROGRAMS NAB FIFTEEN IMPAIRED DRIVERS

This past weekend CAA North & East Ontario (CAANEO) and the City of Ottawa's Integrated Road Safety Program (IRSP) co-sponsored the final two of its four additional Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) programs with the goal of eliminating impaired driving on Ottawa's roads.

OTTAWA, MARCH 31, 2010 - Skyservice Airlines Shuts Down Operations

Toronto-based charter service Skyservice airlines announced today that it will be shutting down operations, leaving some would-be vacationers looking for alternate plans. Skyservice Airlines operated charter flights to various destinations on behalf of some Ontario tour operators. The flights were sold as part of packaged holidays (air and accommodations) by retail Travel Agencies.

OTTAWA, FEBRUARY 25, 2010 - Go Travel South Has Ceased Operations

Halifax-based discount vacation provider Go Travel South announced yesterday that it has ceased operations, leaving thousands of would-be vacationers looking for alternate plans. Go Travel South was not registered in Ontario and therefore not covered by the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) Compensation Fund.
