1. SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER
Senior Web Developer

Reporting to the Manager, Web Commerce this position is responsible for research, writing, coding and executing page design enhancements to the corporate web site (s), based on directives and consultation with affected parties. Software development and business plan interpretation, coupled with hands-on execution is the key role of this position.
Responsibilities:
- Creates efficient and logical online web commerce solutions.
- Designs and codes superior technical solutions.
- Tests for system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Communicates and enforces coding standards.
- Consistently delivers high-quality solutions to benefit CAA Members.
- Identify and deliver required web functionality according to AAA/CAA Standards and company policies.
- Works with clients to clarify their requirements and conveys this information to the web commerce/marketing teams as required.
- May be responsible for working with 3rd party solution providers and other AAA / CAA clubs.
Skills:
- Understands complex design concepts as well as the implications of different methodologies.

- eCommerce form development
- SQL, MySQL database skills with experience making queries and reports
- Expertise in cross-browser compatibility issues
- 3+ years experience testing / quality assurance / solution implementation
Salary Range: $45,000- $52,000

2. TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT ANALYST
Technology Support Analyst - Administration Office, Ottawa

Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, this position is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities necessary to support desktop PCs, laptops, devices, peripherals and data in a networked Windows environment. It will also undertake related project activities as assigned.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to incoming help desk requests.
- Liaise with, and provide concierge service to staff on technology equipment operation and software.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, and other products.
- Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user software and networking software products.
- Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex hardware problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of all IT equipment.
- Administer and maintain the corporate data backup equipment and software.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware/software Collaborate with LAN technician/network administrator to ensure efficient operation of the company's desktop computing environment.
- Ensure that Windows-based workstations and servers comply with established policies, standards, licensing agreements, and configuration guidelines.
- Review and deploy new Windows service packs, hot fixes, system updates, and vendor-supplied patches according to best practices.
The successful candidate will (have):
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 2+ years equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: MCSE, A+; Valid Ontario Driver's License.
- Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware.
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards, including: MS Windows network and desktop operating systems and office productivity suite of applications, TCPIP networking, MS Active Directory.
- Familiarity with NetApp storage products, GroupWise, Symantec Anti Virus and BrightStor backup software would be beneficial.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to determine the best course of action for problem resolution in a customer-focused team environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs of weight.
Salary Range: $45-52,500 per annum, plus benefits

3. PROJECT LEAD, WEB COMMERCE
Project Lead, Web Commerce
CAA North & East Ontario is seeking an individual who has both project management skills and strong web content development skills. Reporting into the Manager, Web Commerce, the incumbent will be responsible for working primarily with internal clients to identify / prioritize all web based marketing requirements; to manage those requirements from initiation through implementation and maintenance. They shall keep stakeholders, team members and management apprised of project status and issues. Generally projects include; identifying/clarifying client requirements, development of the overall project plan; a development phase (which includes the input of client content and product data into a full site management system with components such as; content management, design, email marketing, Coordinating with overall Marketing events schedule, and ecommerce capabilities), and then a post-launch phase. Some projects include capturing custom development requirements for specific partner implementation.
Communication and planning skills are critical as the Project Lead will liaise with internal staff and business line leaders. The incumbent may be called upon to craft proposals, , draft budgets and juggle multiple projects.. The goal of the position is to ensure that our website continues to evolve to suit the needs of our Membership by presenting information in an eye-catching, and accurate manner.
Job Duties:
- Receive, assess clarify and prioritize requests as they are received. Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of various scale projects, from inception to closure
- Lead the execution of Internet marketing projects to improve website conversion and drive additional revenue for the Club
- Analyze the results of projects using multiple web analytics packages, internal data mining tools, industry analysis, and common sense
- Communicate directly with stakeholders to define content and requirements
- Research and draft proposals, project scope documents, and budgets
- Track deadlines and optimize work processes
- Post content daily
- Communicate effectively with Members, partners , team members and senior staff
- Participate in user acceptance testing and quality control checks, operate, monitor and confirm the integrity of projects
- Other related duties as required
Skills:
- Knowledge and 3 years experience in Internet marketing, online advertising, online testing, and project management
- Background in delivering solutions to the financial industry or in working within financial services is considered a definite asset
- Ability to recommend new directions for website enhancements based on best practices, new technologies, and feedback from stakeholders
- Maintain an understanding of the web broadly, social media and internal tools
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work in very fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Strong customer service orientation
Required Qualifications:

4. DISPATCHER - PERMANENT, FULL TIME

Position required to ensure complete services are provided to club members in all areas pertaining to CAA North & East Ontario Automotive Services.
JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Relay information to fleet drivers, brokers and contractors by telephone, two-way radio or digital dispatch. The dispatch territory includes Ottawa, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and the entire CAA North & East Ontario region.
- Monitor fleet and contractor operations during shift to ensure that club policies and procedures are maintained.
- Maintain fleet, broker and contractor efficiency.
- Perform various clerical duties.
- Shift work as per collective agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years dispatch experience.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality necessary.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good Interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Grade twelve (12) or equivalent.
- Fluency in both official languages is an asset.
