1. TRAVEL AGENCY CONSULTANT
Travel Agency Consultant - Westboro Travel Store

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell travel related products such as air, tour, hotel and car reservations
- Provide members with Auto Travel materials and related services including triptiks, medical insurance and memberships
- Answer member/client inquiries
Competencies Required:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work with the public
- Must be dependable
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you must possess:
- Successful completion of Travel Agency Certification course from established and recognized institution
- IATA approved agency experience an asset
- Must actively pursue the CTC designation (supported by the Club)
- Must write CAA/AAA Travel Counsellor's exam
- Complete knowledge of Apollo by Gemini automation
- Fluency in both official languages an asset
- TICO certification required

2. EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE OPERATOR
Emergency Road Service Operator – Contract to March 15, 2010

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accept incoming emergency road service calls via phone system
- Retrieve and record information related to Emergency Road Service calls as per procedures
- Assign calls to specified contractors as required
- Adhere to all departmental rules and regulations
- Other related duties as assigned

- Troubleshooting/decision making in fast paced environment
- Problem solving skills

3. MEMBERSHIP - LEAD GENERATOR
MEMBERSHIP - LEAD GENERATOR (Permanent, Full time)
Ottawa Administration Centre
Working in collaboration with the Membership Sales Specialist, the Membership Lead Generator will be responsible for proactively generating new and qualified membership leads to continually fill the sales funnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizing a series of standard processes generate and qualify leads received from external and internal sources, by:
- Telemarketing from potential members' lists
- Setting appointments of potential members with a member of the sales team
- Mailing membership pamphlets and forward contact information to a member of the sales team.
- Meet and exceed R2 Revenue and Call targets
- Use contact management system as working tool for marinating information, activity and reporting
- Attend and contribute to all sales meetings
- Complete lead general report accurately and on time
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of various lead generating processes and techniques.
- Ability to adapt and manage changes in customer requirements and meet deadlines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Enjoys selling on the telephone and capable of making cold calls to promote membership
- Ability to handle rejection
- Tenacity and the ability to work under pressure and performance indicators
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 2 years experience in a lead generation / telemarketing role
