You will need to become a joint member by registering your CAA Membership with your PETRO-POINTS number. Simply visit

If you are a CAA Member who is not enrolled in PETRO-POINTS, you must join the program in order to participate in this offer. You can join the program in one of three ways:

Redeeming your certificate
For a New Membership, exchange 75,000 points by contacting Petro Canada and receive a certificate number for a Free CAA Basic Membership.
For Renewing Members, the Petro Canada certificate number for a Free CAA Basic Membership has a value of $60.00 (You Save $10) , which will be credited towards the cost of the basic component of your Membership, you will be billed for any difference.

PETRO-POINTS can be earned through gas, as well as convenience store purchases and car wash. As a joint member, your points (in 1,500 increments) can be applied in one of two ways: redeem them for instant rewards, gifts, and other offers; or, convert them into CAA Dollars for a chance to earn a free membership.
