Winter doldrums got you feeling down and housebound? Your CAA Membership card is the key to unlocking outdoor fun this season at some of the best activities and attractions around! Get access to savings at sporting games, shows, live entertainment, and so much more – just by showing your CAA card. After all, winter shouldn’t be endured – it should be enjoyed! Here are our top picks for winter pleasure:

  1. Get caught up in the live drama of the Great Canadian Theatre Company’s production of What a Young Wife Ought to Know, on stage until February 4. CAA Members will SAVE 20% on tickets purchased at the box office..

  2. What can be more thrilling for kids than seeing their favourite Disney characters come to life on the ice? The excitement of Disney on Ice takes place March 1 to 4 at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa. Have your CAA card on hand when purchasing tickets to SAVE 20%.

Don’t forget to make time to head to the nation’s capital (if you don’t live there) to check out the Rideau Canal Skateway, one of the north and east Ontario region’s most spectacular wintertime attractions. Its almost 8 km-stretch of ice makes it the largest rink in the world (and second longest!), you definitely don’t want to miss this seasonal attraction.

And if you time your visit right, you’ll be able to catch Winterlude, Ottawa’s annual festival celebrating – you guessed it – winter! It’s on February 2 to 19 and features events like the International Ice-Carving Competition and the Ice Dragon Boat Festival.
