Five things to do for yourself this summer. (We love No. 3)
“I wish I could just work every day,” said no one, ever.
But how often have you said, “I wish I could just take a day for myself.”
If you haven’t done that in a while, this summer is the perfect time to plan a series of I’m-really-making-this-about-me moments.
And CAA is here for your daycations.
Daycations, you say? That’s right, and with CAA Rewards, you don’t need to justify your me-time because the discounts and savings are reason enough (not that you need one at this point in 2021, to be honest.)
Here are five suggestions for daycations with our Rewards partners that will help you level-set from the chaos of life.
1. Book an overnight getaway for one (or two) at a Best Western Hotels and Resorts or Marriott Hotels. Wake up late, eat breakfast in bed, meditate and relax. For starters.
2. Shed your pandemic look before you re-enter the world. Hit our eStore to order hair care from Chatters, a summer makeup palette from NYX Professional Makeup.
3. Rent a car from Enterprise, grab a CAA map and drive. Sometimes, it’s nice not to have a destination in mind. Blast your tunes, roll down the windows and make it about the journey.
4. Rent a set of wheels from Escape Bicycle Tours and Rentals. E-scooters are the hot ticket item this summer, so renting is a great way to get the wind in your hair. Right in downtown Ottawa, there are incredible bike trails along the Rideau Canal, or from the Ottawa River from the Ottawa Locks to the Supreme Court and then all along the Sir John A Parkway.
5. Take yourself out to lunch. Dinner? So last year. A leisurely lunch with good conversation followed by a postprandial walk is where 2021 is at, friends. Try the Bier Markt, Kelsey’s and Montana’s or any of the other restaurants where CAA Membership means discounts.
Want to do more? We’re glad to hear it. Check out CAA Rewards for a full list of our goods and services partners, both online and instore, to tailor your daycation experience to who you are and where you’re at.
Life isn’t one-size-fits-all. Neither is CAA.
