This fall, Ontario comes alive with shining jack-o'-lanterns lighting up the night. Pumpkin trails across the province bring you the captivating works of hundreds of artists, each a masterpiece when viewed far away for the whole picture or up close to see the intricate details.
Glowing gourds will be arranged in archways, along paths and around every turn, with designs featuring monster mash fun, movie references and classic characters. These trails are the perfect opportunity to experience the magic of Halloween and snap some spooky pics this October.

Northern Ontario’s ultimate Halloween event is back and bigger than ever, featuring over 7,000 hand-carved pumpkins in 40 new displays. Bundle up for this outdoor experience, which also includes Local Legend Storytime, Ghosts of the Mine and a Pumpkin Passport to earn free admission to Science North or Dynamic Earth.

The Great Pumpkin Trail at Hendrie Park boasts hundreds of jack-o’-lanterns scattered through the wooded trails of the garden. Each pumpkin glows from within, lighting up its unique design under trees that turn skeletal in the dark. About a quarter of the one-kilometre trail is wheelchair accessible, with the rest taking you through rocky terrain on your moonlit journey.
Once you’ve walked the trail, you can enjoy pumpkin-themed games on the lawn, a cozy fire pit and seasonal snacks. Halloween costumes are encouraged!
Halloween Nights of Lights and Pumpkinville

Sherway Gardens’ iconic Halloween event returns for its sixth year with a brand-new layout for you to explore. The experience is split into two, with admission granting you access to both Halloween Night of Lights and Pumpkinville. Wander through a maze of 1.5 million LED and RBG lights, snapping photos of the shimmering scenes that will surround you.
Then you can visit Pumpkinville for a fall fair full of glowing photo ops, artistic installations, midway rides and over 15,000 pumpkins on display. You can also pick your own pumpkin, participate in the pumpkin smash or carve your own design.
Pumpkins After Dark – London

Pumpkins After Dark is North America’s largest award-winning Halloween event—a one-kilometre outdoor walk through 10,000 hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns of all shapes and sizes. This is the first time the experience will be in London, bringing huge sculptural displays and a 3D Monster Maze to the heart of Storybook Gardens. Expect ghosts and ghouls, classic creatures of the night and pop culture fun, all carved from shining pumpkins.
Pumpkins After Dark – Milton

The Milton location of this famous event features stunning pumpkin sculptures that will take your breath away, plus sensational seasonal activities like pumpkin carving, costumed actors, fall treats and photo ops for the whole family. In fact, on Wednesday nights, you can even bring your furry friend along too!
The 2025 show features brand new displays, including Dracula’s Castle maze, where these iconic Transylvanian terrors come to life in the form of intricately carved pumpkins. You’ll also be bewitched by this year’s Wicked After Dark display.
PumpkInferno – Upper Canada Village

With new displays every year, the PumpkInferno experience has been running for 13 years. The village’s 1860s charm transforms into a golden world of spectres as 9,000 pumpkins light up the night. With 21 displays spanning a one-kilometre self-guided trail, you’ll see unique sculptures of everything from grinning jack-o’-lantern faces to complex creatures of the night. This year's offerings include the Gilded Garden Party, the Rhinestone Rodeo, the Avant Gourd Gallery and more!

At this experience, you’ll stroll through 5,000 intricately crafted “fun-kins” laid out in towering displays. The characters will appear to come alive before your eyes, becoming animated in the flickering orange light. As you explore, you’ll encounter roving performers and sights both whimsical and spooky.
For those with mobility issues, Discover PumpkInferno becomes a drive-through event on Wednesday nights so you can see the dreamy displays from the comfort of your car. You can also attend add-on experiences like coffin rides, escape games and even a seance.
