We tried four Harvey’s frozen summer drinks—this was our favourite

Could you find your favourite Harvey’s summer drink with your eyes closed? That's what we tried—to varying degrees of success.  

Summer isn’t summer without a cold, refreshing drink, which is where Harvey’s comes in. The $3 Summer Menu offers affordable frozen drinks in classic flavours that you’ll love. We tried four of them.  

We’ll let you in on our favourite, and the one that was easiest to pick out without seeing it. 

Frozen Crush Cream Soda

Nothing is more nostalgic than the taste of Crush Cream Soda on a hot Canadian summer day. This drink brought back images of childhood pool parties and backyard barbecues with its sweet taste. Some of us struggled to pick this one out from the lineup, but with its bright, unmistakable pink colour, it’s impossible to miss Frozen Crush Cream Soda when you’re using all of your senses.  

Frozen Brisk Lemonade

You really can’t go wrong with lemonade, which is perhaps the most iconic summer drink to cool you down when the temperature climbs. This Frozen Brisk Lemonade is perfect for picnics or an afternoon on the porch. The tanginess cuts the sweetness, balancing the flavour profile for a perfect, citrusy flavour, sip after sip.  

Frozen Crush Orange

Orange slushie drinks are hard to come by, which is a travesty for the enthusiasts out there. This drink ticks all the right boxes, offering a burst of sunshine-y citrus flavour that packs a punch. Crisp and refreshing, the Frozen Crush Orange was easy to pick out of the four options, even with our eyes closed.  

Frozen Sour Patch Kids Blue Raspberry

This was our favourite and the most distinct flavour among the four we tried. Nothing tastes quite like blue raspberry, and the added tartness really made us think of Sour Patch Kids. Paired with the blended ice, the Frozen Sour Patch Kids Blue Raspberry is a crowd-pleaser that was new last year and is back to cool down your summer.
