Here at CAA, we understand the need to save. So, we reached out to the Instagram couponing expert, Coupon Cutie, for her top tips to help you save money. Join loyalty programs to save

Most stores have free loyalty programs where you can earn points or get discounts just by scanning a card or app. You'll want to always sign up, so you have access to extra savings.

Stocking up

If you can, don't wait till you're on your last jug of laundry soap to get more. Most likely it won't be on sale when you need it. Whenever you see a good sale, stock up on essentials.

Watch the flyers

If you like to watch for all the best deals in one place, use the Reebee app. They have all the flyers in one place, so you can easily find the best deals l on your phone. 

Another great place to look for discounts is following CAA NEO on social media. We are always announcing great deals on everything from clothes, food and entertainment.

Install money-saving apps on your phone

The Flashfood app has quick expiry food items deeply discounted. It'll show you what's available at your local store, then you order it through the app and go pick it up. Also, the FlashFood app is a great way to help with food waste.

If you haven't already, make sure to download the CAA app on your phone. It has a useful map that will show you all the stores, entertainment, and services nearby where you can save.

Earn cashback when you shop

You can earn cashback when you buy any of the items listed on checkout just by taking a picture of your receipt.

Your savings breakdown

How much does the average Member save a year? You might be surprised. We took the top ten partner savings our Members loved over the course of a year and did the math.

Members save big when they travel. On average, CAA Members save $39 on travel insurance and $23.17 with CAA Luggage and Accessories. Plus, they save $44.41 with Park'N Fly and $20 dollars with Ottawa Airport Parking. On VIA Rail fares, the average member saves $10.

CAA Members also save big on CAA 1. The individual average a Member saves on auto and home insurance is $2172.

The discounts do not end there. A Member saves $124.80 a year on fuel with Shell Canada, $11.57 a year at Swiss Chalet and $54 with Dulux Paints a year.

The total? The average Member can save $549.86 per year -- and that's just the average! That's three times higher than the cost of a CAA Premier Membership.
