Family Membership FAQs
Family members must live at the same address as the Primary Member to qualify. An Associate Membership must be the same or LOWER coverage than the Primary Membership on the household Account.
CAA Family Membership allows eligible Associate Members who reside in the same household as the Primary Member to be added to the Membership account.
CAA Family Membership allows a maximum of six (6) Associate Members to be added to the household account, subject to Membership eligibility requirements.
CAA Family Membership provides roadside assistance benefits to each Associate Member based on the Membership level purchased for the Associate Member.
CAA Family Membership provides each Associate Member with individual access to Membership benefits available under the Membership level purchased for the individual.
CAA Membership is tied to an individual person and not to a specific vehicle.

CAA Family Membership cost depends on the Membership level selected. Memberships start from $30/year plus tax.
CAA Membership benefits begin after the purchase is completed. Roadside assistance coverage is subject to the waiting periods listed in the activation rules of the selected Membership level.
Each Associate Member receives an individual Membership card linked to the household account.
CAA Family Membership requires family members to share the same primary household address as the Primary Member.
CAA Family Membership is linked to the household account established by the Primary Member. Cancellation of the primary Membership affects the status of Associated Memberships on the account. You may move your Membership to start a new Membership household account.
CAA Family Membership allows Associate Members with active roadside protection to request roadside assistance directly.
CAA Family Membership offers reduced Associate-Member pricing compared to the cost of separate primary Memberships.
CAA Family Membership provides Associate Members with access to eligible CAA Rewards offers, partner discounts, travel savings, shopping discounts, dining offers, and other Membership benefits associated with the assigned Membership level.
