Ouimet Farms Adventure Corn Maze

For a bigger corn-maze adventure near Ottawa, head to Ouimet Farms. The seven-acre labyrinth changes themes each year, and the 2026 maze is inspired by Alexander Graham Bell and the telephone. Follow roughly four kilometres of stroller-friendly trails, look for hidden mailboxes along the way and choose your level of challenge. The farm also offers fall activities for families, including a pumpkin patch and pedal kart track.

The House of Terror blends a circus funhouse with a haunted house, while the Fog Maze is a murky labyrinth set to heart-pounding music. The Spooky Village has seven themed houses to visit, including a vampire’s lair, a coffin maker’s shop and more. Visit during the day for a toned-down experience.

After dark, FrightFest turns up the fear factor. Food stands and the Cider House will be open when it’s time for a snack.

Built inside a film studio with movie-level sets and costumes, this immersive carnival of horror sends guests down two twisted paths, whether they choose one nightmare or double the scares. Beyond the deranged characters, forgotten attractions and demented midway, there are games, prizes and food to enjoy in the eerie atmosphere. Choose from full-intensity hours for the biggest scares, “chicken hours” for a brighter, friendlier haunt or standard scare hours for something in between.
Haunt Nights
Where: Watson’s Mill, 5525 Dickinson St., Manotick, ON
When: October 22, 23 and 24, 2026
The historic Watson’s Mill is transformed into three floors of fear, with plans to make 2026 the most terrifying yet. Each floor has a spooky maze to navigate; the main floor is filled with classic monsters. You’ll have to escape a nuclear bunker on the second floor, and the basement is filled with eerie twists as you discover the mystery of the haunted mill. The haunting runs from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each evening and costs $10 at the door.
Haunt Nights are not recommended for children under 10, but you can bring your little ones to the Children’s Halloween Spooktacular on October 31, 2026. Enjoy crafts, games, photo booths, and a light version of the second-floor Haunt Nights maze, without scare actors.
