Ottawa bursts into colour every May as the Canadian Tulip Festival transforms the city into a floral wonderland.

Picture this: from May 9 to 19, you can walk through close to one million tulips, bursting with vibrant colours. You'll stroll through endless rows of fiery reds, sunshine yellows, soft pinks, and deep purples, commemorating the historic gift of 100,000 tulip bulbs from the Dutch Royal Family. This gift was a symbol of gratitude for Canada's role in liberating the Netherlands during WWII.

In addition to admiring the breathtaking flowers, visitors can enjoy live entertainment and cultural experiences like the Vintage Victory Party.

There are also guided tours, photo competitions and various family-friendly activities, making it a fun and memorable outing for all ages. For an unforgettable evening, don't miss the spectacular drone light show available on the last weekend of the festival.
