Ways to get emergency roadside assistance
Be prepared before you call
When you call CAA Emergency Roadside Assistance, please have the following information ready:
- Your name
- Your CAA Membership number and government-issued ID
- The apparent problem with your vehicle
- Vehicle make, model, year and colour
- Exact location of the vehicle (address and nearest cross street) or the point of safety you're calling from (telephone number if possible)
Return to your vehicle or the agreed-upon meeting place to wait for the service person's arrival. You can use our Service Tracker for live updates and to follow your driver online. When the service person arrives, present your valid Membership card. (The Member receiving the service must be with the vehicle when the technician arrives). The service person may ask to see your photo ID as well, as they are not permitted to charge CAA unless the Member has a valid personal Membership card in their possession.
CAA is ready. Are you?
Your local roadside assistance emergency telephone numbers are on the back of your Membership card.
Roadside assistance you can count on
Take it from our Members
I've been a CAA Member for years. I had an incident where I accidentally locked my 3-year-old daughter in my truck. I have locked my keys in my truck before but knowing I have CAA, it's not something I worry about. I'd like to thank CAA for how quickly they arrived. Shortly after we got my daughter out, CAA called to check if everything was okay. I just wanted to say what a fantastic job.
