OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1. SPONSOR: The CAA North & East Ontario Summer of Sports Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by CAA North & East Ontario, 1031 Bank St., Ottawa, ON, K1S 3W7 (the “Sponsor”). This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

2. ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open only to active CAA North & East Ontario members with Sponsor who are legal residents of Ontario and who have reached the age of majority in Ontario at the time of entry, with the exception of employees of the Sponsor, its parent, related or affiliated companies, subsidiaries, departments or agencies, franchisees, suppliers, advertising or promotional agencies, contest administrators, and any other parties engaged in the development, production or distribution of Contest materials and those living in the same household as such individuals.

By participating in this Contest, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Contest Rules. Entrants who do not comply with the Contest Rules are subject to disqualification by the Sponsor, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of a potential winner.

3. CONTEST DATES AND TIMES: The Contest begins on March 1, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. EST and ends on July 6, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST. (the “Contest End Date”), after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.

4. HOW TO ENTER: You can enter by filling out the entry ballot above by entering your complete contact information, including first and last name, telephone number, and e-mail address, and submitting the ballot before the Contest End Date. Entrant information will only be used for marketing where consent has been granted. For this Contest, receipt of an Internet entry occurs when Sponsor's server records the entry information. All entries must be complete and are subject to verification by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Limit one entry per person.

Any attempt or suspected attempt to use robotic, automatic, programmed, or otherwise, illicit means to enter the Contest, or any other methods not authorized by these Contest Rules, for example, but not limited to, creating multiple accounts, identities, or registrations, shall be deemed as tampering and may disqualify you from entering, participating and/or winning a prize, all in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Entries that contain false or incomplete information are void. Entries that are late, lost, stolen, illegible, contain false information, are damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled or incomplete, altered or otherwise irregular or that do not conform with or satisfy any or all of the conditions of the Contest Rules are void. No correspondence will be entered into except with Selected Entrants (defined below). Proof of transmission (screenshots or captures, etc.) does not constitute proof of entry or receipt of an entry.

5. CONTEST PRIZES: There is a total of 327 prizes available to be won, consisting of the following:

120 Ottawa REDBLACKS ticket packages, each containing 4 tickets (approximate retail value: $120 per package). There are 12 ticket packages available to be won for each of 10 selected Ottawa REDBLACKShome games, which games are scheduled to take place at TD Place on the following dates: May 30,  Jun. 13, Jun. 29, Jul. 20, Jul. 31, Aug. 22, Sep. 5, Sep. 20, Oct. 3, Oct. 18, 2025.

150 Ottawa Titans ticket packages, each containing 4 tickets (approximate retail value: $120 per package). The selected Ottawa Titans home games for which ticket packages are available to be won (and the number of packages available for each such game) are the home games scheduled to take place at Ottawa Stadium on the following dates: June 27 (75 packages) and August 23, 2025 (75 packages).

57 Atletico Ottawa ticket packages, each containing 4 tickets (approximate retail value: $120 per package). There are 25 packages to be given away for September 27, 2025, plus 2 ticket packages available to be won for each of 16 Atletico home games at TD Place on the following dates: Apr. 5, Apr. 19, Apr. 29, May 3, May 10, Jun. 15, Jul. 13, Jul. 18, Aug. 3, Aug. 6, Aug. 23, Aug. 30, Sep. 6, Sep. 21, Sep. 27, Oct. 12, 2025.

24 Rapid FC Ticket packages, each containing 4 tickets (approximate retail value: $120 per package). There are 24 ticket packages available to be won for each of 24 selected Ottawa REDBLACKS home games, which games are scheduled to take place at TD Place on the following dates: Apr. 27, May 3, May 11, May 15, May 25, Jun. 7, Jun. 10, Jun. 14, Jun. 21, Jul. 10, Jul. 19, Jul. 25, Aug. 2, Aug. 9, Aug. 13, Aug. 16, Aug. 24, Aug. 28, Sep. 7, Sep. 13, Sep. 17, Sep. 20, Sep. 26, Oct. 8, Oct. 15, 2025.

The prizes will be delivered electronically to the winner’s email address provided on the entry ballot. The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, bartered, sold, or converted to cash (except as may otherwise be specifically permitted by Sponsor in its sole discretion). Any other costs, expenses, charges, or fees associated with the prizes but not explicitly noted above (including travel to and from the venue, accommodations, concessions or any other incidentals) are not part of the prize and will be the winner’s (and the winner companion’s) sole responsibility. The Sponsor reserves the right at any time to substitute the prize for any reason with a prize of equal or greater value, including, without limitation, but at the Sponsor’s sole discretion, a cash award. Tickets to events are subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the event venue and/or the original ticket supplier.

Sponsor makes no representations or warranties with respect to the prize or the goods or services for which it is redeemed. Any rescheduling, cancellation or relocation of any sporting event is not the responsibility of Sponsor, and the winner’s rights will be subject to the applicable ticket’s terms and conditions imposed by the event venue and/or original ticket supplier. All winners assume any and all liability for any injury, death or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by entering or participating in this Contest or the use, misuse, or redemption of a prize, including any travel related thereto. Prizes or any portion thereof cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions or special offers.

6. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received before each applicable Draw Date (defined below). Entrants can only win once.

7. SKILL TESTING QUESTION: Selected Entrants will be required, as a condition to winning a prize, to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind (whether mechanical or otherwise), the Sponsor’s time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question.

8. WINNER SELECTION AND CONFIRMATION: An employee, agent or other representative of Sponsor will conduct three random draws from all eligible entries to select 327 potential winners (the “Selected Entrants”) on or about the following dates: April 1, May 19, and July 7, 2025 (the “Draw Dates”).

On April 1, potential winners of the tickets for the following games will be selected: Apr. 13 (Atletico), Apr. 20 (Atletico), Apr. 27 (Rapid FC), May 3 (Rapid FC), May 5 (Atletico), May 11 (Rapid FC), May 15 (Rapid FC), May 25 (Rapid FC), May 25 (Atletico), May 30 (REDBLACKS), Jun. 2 (Atletico), Jun. 7 (Rapid FC), Jun. 10 (Rapid FC), Jun. 13 (REDBLACKS).

On May 19, potential winners of the tickets for the following games will be selected: Jun. 14 (Rapid FC), Jun. 15 (Atletico), Jun. 21 (Rapid FC), Jun. 27 (Titans), Jun. 28 (Atletico), Jun. 29 (REDBLACKS), Jul. 7 (Atletico), Jul. 10 (Rapid FC), Jul. 19 (Rapid FC), Jul. 20 (REDBLACKS), Jul. 21 (Atletico), Jul. 25 (Rapid FC), Jul. 31 (REDBLACKS).

On July 7, potential winners of the tickets for the following games will be selected: Aug. 2 (Rapid FC), Aug. 6 (Atletico), Aug. 9 (Rapid FC), Aug. 13 (Rapid FC), Aug. 16 (Rapid FC), Aug. 22 (REDBLACKS), Aug. 23 (Titans), Aug. 24 (Rapid FC), Aug. 28 (Rapid FC), Aug. 31 (Atletico), Sep. 5 (REDBLACKS), Sep. 7 (Rapid FC), Sep. 13 (Rapid FC), Sep. 17 (Rapid FC), Sep. 20 (REDBLACKS), Sep. 20 (Rapid FC), Sep. 22 (Atletico), Sep. 26 (Rapid FC), Sep. 29 (Atletico), Oct. 3 (REDBLACKS), Oct. 8 (Rapid FC), Oct. 15 (Rapid FC), Oct. 18 (REDBLACKS), Oct. 19 (Atletico).

Each draw will include all eligible entries received up to the applicable Draw Date, excluding any entries which have already been selected in a previous draw. The draws will be conducted at approximately 1 p.m. EST at 1031 Bank Street, Ottawa, ON, K1S 3W7.  Each of the Selected Entrants will be declared a winner only if they meet all of the eligibility criteria set out in these Contest Rules.

If a Selected Entrant does not meet the eligibility criteria, they will be disqualified and will not receive a prize, and another entrant will be selected by way of a random draw from the remaining eligible entries. Before being declared a winner, a Selected Entrant will be required to: (i) correctly answer the Sponsor’s skill-testing question; (ii) sign and return the Sponsor’s Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release form (“Winner Release”); and (iii) comply with all other Contest Rules, all in the sole discretion of Sponsor.

The Selected Entrant will be notified within one (1) business day of the draw and will be contacted at the email provided at the time of entry into the Contest. Up to three (3) contact attempts will be made by the Sponsor within 36 hours following the applicable draw. A Selected Entrant that does not respond to the notification within five (5) days after the initial notification attempt or who cannot accept the prize may be disqualified, and a new Selected Entrant will be selected by random draw from the remaining eligible entries (up to a maximum of three (3) alternate draws), which new Selected Entrant will be subject to the same requirements. Except as otherwise provided by the Sponsor, the Sponsor’s signed Winner Release must be returned to marketing@caaneo.on.ca and received by Sponsor no later than three (3) days after requested. Sponsor is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a Selected Entrant to receive a notification or for the Sponsor to receive a Selected Entrant’s response.

If the identity of a Selected Entrant is disputed, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder (the individual assigned to the e-mail address or, if applicable for entry, social media handle associated with the entry). Each Selected Entrant may be required to provide proof that they are the Authorized Account Holder associated with the selected entry.

9. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: By participating in the Contest, you agree that the Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) incorrect or inaccurate entry information which may affect a person’s ability to participate in the Contest or be awarded a prize, including but not limited to human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries for any reason, mail or communication failures, omission, or any combination thereof, and entries which fail to fully comply with these Contest Rules; (ii) transmission or technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in any phone lines, network hardware or software, servers, access providers, or the failure of any website; (iii) late, lost, incomplete, delayed, not received, damaged, mutilated, misdirected, stolen, fraudulent, or illegible entries or Winner Release forms (all of which shall be automatically void and not eligible for a prize, regardless of the reason); (iv) injury or damage to the entrant’s computer or to any other individual’s computer related to or resulting from participating in, or downloading any material regarding, the Contest or accepting a prize; (v) any injury, death or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize, including any travel related thereto and the use of the entry by Sponsor; (vi) the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers” or otherwise; (vii) late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential winner; and (viii) any rescheduling, cancellation or relocation of any sporting event or travel associated with a prize.

10. DISQUALIFICATION: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who is found to be: (i) tampering with the entry process or with the operation and administration of the Contest; (ii) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest; or (iii) in violation of the Contest Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including but not limited to criminal prosecution.

11. OTHER CONDITIONS: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, suspend or amend this Contest or these Contest Rules at any time and in any way, without prior notice, including if the Contest, or any part thereof, is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to human error, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, programming errors, or technical failures, which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest.

Publicity and Entrant information: By participating in the Contest, entrants consent to the use of information provided on entry, including (as applicable) their name, address, postal code, telephone number, social media handles, comments and image, whether on videotape, photograph or any other means, all as may be edited, translated or otherwise modified by the Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion, for the administration of this Contest or any related publicity carried out by the Sponsor, without further notice or compensation. Any collection, use or disclosure by the Sponsor of the entrant’s personal information will be in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://caaneo.ca/about/privacy-policy/.

Governing Law: The Contest is void where prohibited by law. This Contest shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, including all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Contest Rules, rights and obligations between entrants and the Sponsor, and procedural provisions, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Any legal claims arising out of or relating to the Contest or these Contest Rules shall be brought and adjudicated in the provincial courts sitting in Ottawa, Ontario.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any other Contest-related materials or made by any person, including any point-of-sale, television, radio, print or online advertising or any translated version of these Contest Rules, the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.

Rule amendments: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend or modify these Contest Rules, or modify, cancel or suspend this Contest, without prior notice for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation in the event that any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor corrupts, or threatens to corrupt, the security or proper administration of the Contest.

Intellectual Property: All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, images, drawings, illustrations, slogans, and representations are owned by the Sponsor and/or its affiliates, as the case may be. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or other intellectual property without the express written consent of the Sponsor is strictly prohibited. The Sponsor’s marketing or other partners, if any, shall also have access to and rights to reproduce, copy or otherwise use any materials generated by this Contest or any submissions or materials generated by entrants. Notwithstanding the foregoing, all logos and trademarks associated with the Ottawa REDBLACKS, Atletico Ottawa and the Ottawa Titans are the property of their respective owners.
