Have more than one trip on your schedule?
A CAA Multi-trip Travel Insurance plan1 offers the same comprehensive coverage as our single trip policies (including up to $5 million CAD* in coverage) but for 365 days a year. It starts each time you leave Canada but that’s not all – it also provides flexibility, with top-ups available if your vacation plans get extended. Best of all, the more you travel... the more you save! You can visit a CAA Store, call 1-800-705-1803 or get a quote online.

Frequently asked questions
You are eligible if you:
- Are insured under a valid Canadian provincial or territorial health insurance plan (GHIP)
- Purchase the policy before you have left Ontario
- Meet the eligibility requirements
- Are an Ontario resident
- Purchase your policy before you depart. If you purchase your travel insurance policy after you leave for your vacation or after an injury/illness has occurred, it will not be valid.
- Make sure you’re aware of what claims aren’t covered: Certain things such as planned procedures, routine checkups or unstable pre-existing medical conditions are not covered by insurance and therefore would be denied if a claim was submitted.
- Read and fill out the medical questionnaire very carefully: If you forget to include a certain health condition, this could lead to a void of your policy. Everything including long term and unused prescriptions must be disclosed.
Annual travel policies are a cost-effective way for frequent travellers to purchase travel insurance benefits for multiple trips in one year. They cover your medical and travel, so you don’t have to worry about buying insurance every time you fly.
