Day by day itinerary

Depart on your international flight from Toronto and arrive in Faro, Portugal, on February 9.

Meet your tour guide upon arrival in Faro, then transfer to Porches, Algarve. Settle into your one-bedroom apartment for an 18-night stay. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and get to know your fellow travellers

Spend 18 nights in the charming village of Porches, in Portugal's Algarve region, which offers a blend of tradition, culture, and coastal beauty. Take in scenic cliffs, fresh seafood, and local wines in a relaxed, sun-soaked setting. Optional excursions can be booked through your travel consultant before departure.  

Depart from Porches and enjoy a two-night stay in Portgual's vibrant capital, Lisbon.

Explore Lisbon's charm, stroll through cobblestone streets, find grand plazas like Praça do Comércio, see iconic landmarks like Belém Tower and enjoy live music.

Feb. 13 – A Taste of the Algarve
Visit São Brás to sample carob bread, almond cakes, and carob liqueur. Then, tour a cork factory and an ethnographic museum and explore the village of Salir.

Feb. 24 – Algarve Landscapes & Winery
Enjoy pottery demos, stroll coastal villages, admire rock formations at Algar Seco, and taste local wines on a scenic drive through the Algarve.

Feb. 25 – Alentejo Wine Tour
Visit two wineries in the Alentejo region and enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch amid rolling countryside (2026 dates TBC).

Feb. 28 – Sintra Deluxe (includes wine)
Tour the fairytale Pena Palace, visit the Colares wine region, and enjoy a coastal drive through Cabo da Roca, Cascais, and Estoril.

Feb. 12 – Secrets of the East
Explore salt pans, the Ria Formosa estuary, the fishing towns of Olhão and Santa Luzia, Tavira, and visit an olive oil mill with a tasting.

Feb. 16 – Magical Benagil Grottoes
Take a boat tour from Portimão to visit stunning caves and secluded beaches along the dramatic Algarve coastline.

Feb.19 – Jeep Safari & Arade River Cruise
Go off-road through hills and meadows, sample local honey and medronho, enjoy lunch, then cruise the Arade River with time for a beach swim.

Feb. 20 – Seville Day Trip
Cross into Spain for a guided city tour of Seville, visiting landmarks like the Alcazar and Seville Cathedral, with free time to explore or shop.

Feb. 23 – Silves & Monchique Tour
Tour the Moorish Silves Castle and take in panoramic views from Foia, the highest peak in the Algarve.

Feb. 27 – Lisbon by Night
Take a panoramic tour of Lisbon’s landmarks, followed by a traditional Portuguese dinner with live Fado music in an atmospheric venue.

Feb. 28 – Obidos, Nazare, Batalha & Fatima
Explore medieval towns, a Gothic monastery, a seaside village, and Fatima’s religious sanctuary, one of the world's most important pilgrimage sites.

Optional excursions occurring on select dates: 

Feb. 28 – Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off 
Choose from three routes covering 40+ stops, including Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, city squares, museums, gardens, and scenic Lisbon neighbourhoods.

Together. Groups by CAA Travel are organized and booked by CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc. (“CAA Travel”) on behalf of CAA North & East Ontario (CAANEO).

Pricing:
All CAA Member prices[i] are reflected in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise stated, are per person, based on double occupancy[ii], and are subject to change without prior notice until final payment is made[iii]. Non-member pricing is available. CAA Member-exclusive benefits are per person and are provided to the first two people per booking and are awarded with final documentation or during travel (in the case of shipboard credits for example). To receive CAA Member-exclusive benefits you must be a current CAA Member in good standing (CAA Membership dues paid in full by membership expiry date). Together. Groups by CAA Travel reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements (i.e., minimum number of participants) or circumstances beyond its control.

Insurance:
CAA Travel Insurance is underwritten by Orion Travel Insurance Company, a CAA Company. For anyone 60 years of age or older a Medical Questionnaire is required. Generated Insurance Quotes are valid for 30 days with quote number. CAA Travel strongly recommends the purchase of cancellation, emergency travel, medical, and baggage insurance at the time of booking. CAA Members save up to 20% on CAA Travel Insurance. Applies to CAA Members in good standing (CAA Membership dues paid in full by Membership expiry date). Up to twenty percent (20%) savings applies to the total premium excluding applicable taxes. Minimum premium applies. Subject to change without notice. Excludes Visitors to Canada Insurance. CAA Everyday, Classic®, and Plus® Members save 10%. CAA Premier® Members save 20% at CAA Stores or by calling 1-800-705-1803. CAA Premier Members save 10% and earn 10% in CAA Dollars® when booking online. 

Additional Fees & Charges:
Additional fees such as, but not limited to, checked luggage, gratuities, or other incidentals, including items of a personal nature, may be incurred and vary according to individual itineraries. Due to Air schedules not being available, at time of print, passengers may incur forced overnight accommodation fees at their own expense. 

Cancellation Policy:
Together. Groups by CAA Travel packages are 100% non-refundable (deposit and final payment).

Accessibility:
Specific airlines and routes cannot be guaranteed; however, Together. Groups by CAA Travel will do its best to provide the most direct route possible. Due to Air schedules not being available, at time of print, routes may unexpectedly include several connections. Vehicles and facilities may not meet the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards. Participants must be able to transport and move their own luggage and be able embark and disembark all transportation methods without assistance.  A good level of mobility is required for walking tours in destinations where stairs and traditional cobblestone streets can be challenging.

Responsibilities:
CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc. reminds all Members that they must ultimately assume responsibility for their actions while on tour. The Canadian government agencies regularly issue advisories and warnings to travelers giving details of local conditions in specified cities and countries according to such agency's perception of risks to travelers. CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc. strongly recommends that Members and their CAA Travel Counsellors obtain and consider such information when making travel decisions. Members are responsible to bring all necessary travel documents such as passports, visas, proof of citizenship, re-entry permits, minor's permissions, medical certificates showing all necessary vaccinations & prescription medications, and all other documents necessary in the countries to which the Member will travel. It is the Members sole responsibility to obtain and have available, when necessary, the appropriate valid travel documents. All Members are advised to check with their CAA Travel Counsellor, or the appropriate government authority, to determine the necessary documents. If you do not have proper documentation, you may be subject to fines, be denied entry, or other costs incurred by the carrier from improper documentation or noncompliance with applicable regulations.

Indemnity:
Member shall indemnify and hold harmless CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc., its affiliated entities and their employees, agents, shareholders, officers, successors and assigns (collectively CAANEO from all suits, actions, losses, damages, claims or liability for any personal injury, death, property damage or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity which is occasioned by any negligent acts or omissions of CAANEO arising out of any goods or services provided for this or these trips. CAANEO is not responsible, and will not be bound by, representations made by third party representatives, travel agents, unaffiliated websites, or any other party. CAANEO shall not be liable for any loss or theft or damage to Members items of a personal nature.

Force Majeure:
CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc., monitors security situations around the world as well as government travel advisories. Conditions may require Together. Groups by CAA Travel to change or even cancel trips.  By booking this trip, you accept the risks involved in travel, both foreign and domestic, and accept responsibility for your own travel decisions.

Governing Law:
The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) is an organization mandated by the Ontario government to administer the Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002 and Ontario Regulation 26/05 which governs all the approximately 2,100 travel retailers and travel wholesalers registered in Ontario.
