How it works

CAA Delay Pass offers comfort and convenience when your flight is delayed by more than 60 minutes. If you're eligible, you and one guest can enjoy complimentary access to airport lounges or an alternative comfort solution. Available in select airports only.

Frequently asked questions

Complimentary lounge access (at participating airports) if a registered flight is delayed by 60 minutes or more. If a lounge is not available, you may receive restaurant or spa vouchers or similar experiences.

No, CAA Delay Pass is only available at participating airports. 

To check eligibility, log into My Account and navigate to "My Travel," where you'll see CAA Delay Pass. Once there, check to see if the pass is currently locked or unlocked. If it's locked, you'll be able to follow the steps to become eligible. If it's unlocked, you can register any upcoming flights from there. 

If you're not currently eligible, you can upgrade your CAA Membership to Premier® or book eligible travel with CAA North & East Ontario. Eligible travel includes guided tours, cruises, Together. Groups by CAA Travel itineraries, all-inclusive packages (including air) and flights. If you'd like to upgrade your Membership, call 1-800-705-1803. To book travel, contact a CAA Travel Consultant to start planning. 

Eligible CAA Members who have successfully registered their flight(s) with CAA Delay Pass can add one additional traveller to the benefit. The additional traveller does not need to be a CAA Member.

Yes. Log into My Account and navigate to CAA Delay Pass under My Travel. From there, you can register your flights and look out for a confirmation email.
