CAA Gift Memberships

No, you do not need to be a CAA Member to purchase a gift Membership.

You can purchase a gift Membership for anyone who lives in the CAA North & East Ontario territory who is not currently a CAA Member. Click here to see our territory map of the area we service.

If you are purchasing a gift for the holidays or a specific event, please note that Membership cards will be delivered via mail to the selected address within two to three weeks. A welcome email will be sent to the gift recipient’s email within 40 days of the Membership purchase date. If there is an issue with the timing of this process, please contact our customer service department to discuss alternatives via Web Chat, email membership@caaneo.ca or call 1-844-252-3648.

If you are purchasing the Membership as a gift please note that the Membership Cards will be delivered via mail to the selected address within two to three weeks. 

If you wish to keep the gift a surprise, select to have the Membership cards sent directly to you (the donor) instead of the gift recipient.

CAA Gift Membership is a Membership purchased for another individual, providing access to Member benefits, savings, and applicable roadside assistance coverage based on the selected Membership level. 

CAA Gift Membership works by purchasing a Membership on behalf of a recipient and selecting a Membership level. Once activated, the recipient receives access to Membership benefits and savings associated with the selected plan. 

CAA Gift Memberships can be given to individuals who reside in the CAA North & East Ontario territory who are not already Members. 

CAA Gift Membership can be purchased online. If the gift is for a special occasion, it is recommended to contact CAA before the purchase to delay the active date of the Membership to your desired date.  

CAA Gift Membership provides one year of Membership coverage from the activation date. 

CAA Everyday Membership becomes active immediately upon successful purchase and confirmation. 

CAA Gift Membership recipients can upgrade to a higher Membership level and pay any applicable difference in Membership fees. 

CAA Gift Membership includes roadside assistance when the selected Membership level includes roadside assistance coverage. Coverage varies by Membership level. 

CAA Gift Membership may be applied to an existing Membership account when eligibility requirements are met, and account conditions allow. 

CAA Gift Membership is non-transferable once activated and assigned to the recipient. 

CAA Gift Membership includes a digital Membership card and a physical Membership card mailed after activation. Physical cards usually take 2 to 3 weeks and can be sent to the purchaser instead of the recipient. 

A delivery date cannot be scheduled for the Membership card.  The welcome package can be sent to the gift purchaser to keep the gift a surprise. 

CAA Gift Membership is a great gift because CAA Gift Membership provides a full year of savings, benefits, and protection through travel discounts, retail offers, fuel savings, discounts on attraction tickets and sporting events, and roadside assistance coverage where applicable. 

CAA Gift Membership recipients can access participating CAA Rewards partners and eligible Member offers during the active Membership period. 

CAA Gift Membership includes fuel savings at our participating Shell locations.
