CAA Membership plans include a combination of roadside assistance, travel and insurance savings, shopping and dining discounts, fuel savings, hotel discounts, entertainment offers, and access to CAA Rewards partners. Benefit levels vary by Membership plan.
The difference between Classic, Plus, and Premier Membership is the level of roadside coverage and select travel benefits:
CAA Classic: Up to 4 service calls per year with towing up to 10 km.
CAA Plus: Up to 4 service calls per year with towing up to 200 km.
CAA Premier: Up to 5 service calls per year, with one tow up to 320 km and up to four additional tows up to 200 km.
All three plans include 24/7 roadside assistance, Bike Assist, fuel savings, restaurant savings, hotel discounts, and insurance savings.
Premier Membership offers the most benefits, including the highest level of roadside protection, the longest towing distances, the greatest number of service calls, and enhanced travel insurance savings.
No. CAA Classic, Plus, and Premier Memberships include 24/7 roadside assistance across Canada and the United States.
CAA Everyday Membership only provides Bike Assist coverage and does not include vehicle roadside assistance.

Plus vs. Classic: $50 more per year
Premier vs. Plus: $40 more per year
Premier vs. Classic: $90 more per year

The best value for money depends on driving habits and coverage needs:
Classic Membership: Best for local driving and occasional roadside assistance needs.
Plus Membership: Best for regular driving with extended towing coverage.

Alternatively, if you are only interested in the exclusive member benefits and savings and do not need roadside assistance, CAA Everyday gives you access to everything except roadside assistance.
Yes. A CAA Membership plan can be upgraded at any time. Upgraded roadside assistance benefits become active after the applicable waiting period and payment has been processed.
The Membership price covers the benefits included with the selected plan. Additional charges may apply in situations such as:
Roadside service requests that exceed the annual service call allowance
Optional products or services purchased separately
Immediate roadside assistance requested during a new membership purchase or upgrade
Taxes also apply to Membership purchases.
