Depart on your international flight to arrive in Lisbon on Jan. 19, 2025. 


 

Arrive in Lisbon and meet your English-speaking local assistant, then transfer by private coach to Albufeira in the Algarve region. Check in to your waterfront resort and hotel spa, settle in and enjoy a welcome dinner with fellow travellers.

Spend 20 nights in Albufeira, where days unfold at your own pace in one of Portugal's most inviting coastal regions. Caves and dolphin watching cruise from Albufeira

Duration: 2 hours

Cruise along the Algarve coastline between Albufeira and Carvoeiro, passing dramatic cliffs and rock formations. Watch for dolphins in their natural habitat and enjoy close-up views of sea caves, including the famous Benagil cave (weather permitting).

Albufeira city highlights & wine tasting

Duration: 3.5 hours

Combine sightseeing and gastronomy on this guided tour of Albufeira. Visit key city highlights and viewpoints before continuing to a vineyard for tastings of local wines, paired with regional products and commentary on Algarve wine traditions. 

Wine tasting tour in Algarve wintery

Duration: 2 hours

Learn more about Portugal's winemaking culture during a guided visit to a countryside winery near Silves. Explore the vineyard and production areas, then enjoy tastings of regional wines and olive oils, served with local bread in a relaxed rural setting.

Duration: 2.5 hours

Surf school in Albufeira

Duration: 2 hours

Take advantage of Albufeira's surf conditions with lessons led by certified instructors. Classes are tailored to ability level, with group options offering a fun and social way to learn or build confidence on the waves.

Off-road buggy tour to hidden Algarve trails

Duration: 3 hours

Drive a buggy through a variety of terrains, from gravel roads to mountain tracks and rocky paths. This guided off-road adventure combines adrenaline and scenic countryside views while exploring lesser-seen areas of the Algarve.

Duration: 4 hours

Half day historical tour to Silves and Monchique

Duration: 4 hours

Visit the historic town of Silves, once the Moorish capital of the Algarve, including its castle and old streets. Continue into the Monchique mountains for countryside scenery, panoramic views and insight into local culture.

Discover Albufeira in a Tuk Tuk

Duration: 2 hours

Explore Albufeira's beaches, viewpoints, monuments and lesser-known corners by tuk tuk. This guided ride combines local storytelling with access to scenic spots often missed on foot.

Duration: 24-hour or 48-hour validity

Discover Lisbon at your own pace with a flexible hop-on hop-off bus pass. Ride between the city's major highlights and monuments, hop off to explore when something catches your interest and rejoin the route as often as you like during the valid period.

Lisbon half-day highlights private tour

Duration: 4 hours

Pricing:
All CAA Member prices[i] are reflected in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise stated, are per person, based on double occupancy[ii], and are subject to change without prior notice until final payment is made[iii]. Non-member pricing is available. CAA Member-exclusive benefits are per person and are provided to the first two people per booking and are awarded with final documentation or during travel (in the case of shipboard credits for example). Together. Groups by CAA Travel reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements (i.e., minimum number of participants) or circumstances beyond its control.

Insurance:
CAA Travel Insurance is underwritten by Orion Travel Insurance Company, a CAA Company. For anyone 60 years of age or older a Medical Questionnaire is required. Generated Insurance Quotes are valid for 30 days with quote number. CAA Travel strongly recommends the purchase of cancellation, emergency travel, medical, and baggage insurance at the time of booking. CAA Members save up to 20% on CAA Travel Insurance. Applies to CAA Members in good standing (CAA Membership dues paid in full by Membership expiry date). Up to twenty percent (20%) savings applies to the total premium excluding applicable taxes. Minimum premium applies. Subject to change without notice. Excludes Visitors to Canada Insurance. CAA Everyday, Classic®, and Plus® Members save 10%. Additional Fees & Charges:
Additional fees such as, but not limited to, checked luggage, gratuities, or other incidentals, including items of a personal nature, may be incurred and vary according to individual itineraries. Due to Air schedules not being available, at time of print, passengers may incur forced overnight accommodation fees at their own expense. 

Cancellation Policy:
Together. Groups by CAA Travel packages are 100% non-refundable (deposit and final payment).

Accessibility:
Specific airlines and routes cannot be guaranteed; however, Together. Groups by CAA Travel will do its best to provide the most direct route possible. Due to Air schedules not being available, at time of print, routes may unexpectedly include several connections. Vehicles and facilities may not meet the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards. Participants must be able to transport and move their own luggage and be able embark and disembark all transportation methods without assistance.  A good level of mobility is required for walking tours in destinations where stairs and traditional cobblestone streets can be challenging.

Responsibilities:
CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc. reminds all Members that they must ultimately assume responsibility for their actions while on tour. The Canadian government agencies regularly issue advisories and warnings to travelers giving details of local conditions in specified cities and countries according to such agency's perception of risks to travelers. CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc. strongly recommends that Members and their CAA Travel Counsellors obtain and consider such information when making travel decisions. Members are responsible to bring all necessary travel documents such as passports, visas, proof of citizenship, re-entry permits, minor's permissions, medical certificates showing all necessary vaccinations & prescription medications, and all other documents necessary in the countries to which the Member will travel. It is the Members sole responsibility to obtain and have available, when necessary, the appropriate valid travel documents. All Members are advised to check with their CAA Travel Counsellor, or the appropriate government authority, to determine the necessary documents. If you do not have proper documentation, you may be subject to fines, be denied entry, or other costs incurred by the carrier from improper documentation or noncompliance with applicable regulations.

Indemnity:
Member shall indemnify and hold harmless CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc., its affiliated entities and their employees, agents, shareholders, officers, successors and assigns (collectively CAANEO from all suits, actions, losses, damages, claims or liability for any personal injury, death, property damage or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity which is occasioned by any negligent acts or omissions of CAANEO arising out of any goods or services provided for this or these trips. CAANEO is not responsible, and will not be bound by, representations made by third party representatives, travel agents, unaffiliated websites, or any other party. CAANEO shall not be liable for any loss or theft or damage to Members items of a personal nature.

Force Majeure:
CAA Travel (North & East Ontario) Inc., monitors security situations around the world as well as government travel advisories. Conditions may require Together. Groups by CAA Travel to change or even cancel trips.  By booking this trip, you accept the risks involved in travel, both foreign and domestic, and accept responsibility for your own travel decisions.
