Since 1913, CAA has advocated for Canadians both on and off the road.
CAA is a non-profit, Member-driven organization with a deep history of putting Canadians first.
Although we began advocating for road safety, today we tackle issues that impact everyday life. Whether we focus on distracted driving or air passenger rights, emerging vehicle technology or car theft, extreme weather or consumer towing rights, CAA is working for Canadians.
Car theft
Vehicle theft is a crisis in Ontario. And while it’s easy to think it will happen to someone else, the rate of theft and range of vehicles means it’s impacting more and more consumers.

Extreme weather
From tornados and wildfires to floods and massive storms, extreme weather events are increasing in frequency, impacting people, properties and infrastructure.
Electric vehicles
There's plenty to learn about EVs, but starting with the basics is important. Consider factors like affordability, charge versus range, winter driving, performance, and EV ownership's hidden costs or benefits. These can help you decide if an EV is right for you.

Fit your car
Sharing a vehicle can often feel like stepping into someone else's shoes—only to discover they don't quite fit. Whether you're sharing a car with a spouse or your teenage children, adjusting settings for visibility is safer for you - and other drivers.
Safe driving
Since its inception, CAA has led conversations about road safety for all Canadians on a range of issues, from distracted driving or speeding to driving high or not slowing down for emergency vehicles.

Greener driving
CAA believes in giving you the knowledge to make informed choices when it comes to how you drive, what kind of vehicle you purchase, and how you take care of it.
