No, not all services are available in all regions. 

Mobile Battery Service: Metro Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Carleton Place, Smiths Falls and Perth.

Mobile Tire Change: Greater Ottawa, Sudbury, and Thunder Bay. 

Mobile Oil Change: Greater Ottawa. 

Mobile Chip Repair: Greater Ottawa and Thunder Bay.  

Mobile Auto Detailing: Greater Ottawa. 

The price of the Pit Crew service depends on your CAA Membership. Once the service is complete, the technician will process payment. They accept Visa and Mastercard.

Yes, you will need to greet the technician before the service is performed, and complete payment at the end of the service. 

Yes, you will receive a phone call from the technician when they are on their way. If you wish to receive updates via text, please select the option, Service Tracker™ when booking your appointment.

CAA Pit Crew offers service at all residential housing, including condominiums and apartments.

The vehicle must be parked outside with a minimum of three metres (10 feet) of space between vehicles or other obstructions.

We prefer the vehicle to be parked outside with a minimum of three metres (10 feet) of space between the vehicle and other obstructions. We will only perform the service in a garage if the weather is inclement and there is adequate room in the garage to perform the service safely.

Yes, however, it is the Member's responsibility to locate a viable spot to complete the service with adequate space.

We will not perform the service on the street for the safety of our technicians. The Member must make alternative arrangements for a safe location.

The service technician will have wheel chocks, so as long as the slope is not extreme, there should not be a problem.

Yes, we can perform the service as long as you have written permission on company letterhead from the business owner.

We can only perform a Pit Crew service on four-wheel passenger vehicles and 1/2-ton trucks (i.e. F150, Sierra, Silverado, Tundra, Ram1500, etc.). We cannot service commercial vehicles, trailers, RVs or campers. CAA reserves the right to cancel appointments if the vehicle's make/model is unserviceable.

Due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather, the appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled based on availability.

If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly request that you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Failure to provide adequate notice of cancellation may result in a charge of $45 + HST to your credit card. This policy allows us to better accommodate our Members and optimize our scheduling. 

No, CAA Pit Crew services, including tire change, oil change, chip repair, auto detailing, and auto repair, will not count against your call allotment. A CAA Mobile Battery Service call will not count as an allotted roadside assistance service call if a battery is purchased and installed. 

Yes, Pit Crew services that apply to your vehicle can all be used, such as tire change, detailing, and batteries (for hybrids).  

Yes, our pit crew services can come to your home and complete vehicle maintenance right in your driveway.
