Overview

At CAANEO, data drives real decisions, and this role focuses on making that data clear, accessible, and actionable.

We’re looking for someone who can take complex information and make it instantly understandable through the right visualization, layout, and narrative. You understand your audience, communicate clearly, and present data in a way that supports better decision-making across the organization.

Behind every membership decision, service improvement, and operational initiative is data. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the reporting layer that connects data to action, partnering with teams to ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

You bring a strong blend of technical capability and business understanding, along with an analytical, practical approach to problem-solving. You care about how data is used and can translate it into insights that influence real business decisions.

You will design and deliver dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, working with data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy and integrity. From scheduled reporting to ad hoc analysis and presentations, you will deliver clear, tailored outputs that meet stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

Dashboard & Report Design

  • Design intuitive, visually compelling dashboards in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric that clearly communicate insights to business stakeholders
  • Play a key role in shaping the organization’s reporting layer, ensuring reports are accurate and structured in a way that makes them clear, easy to interpret, and actionable
  • Build and maintain scheduled reports, ad hoc reports, and self-serve dashboards for a range of stakeholders, from executives to frontline team leads
  • Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, including defining relationships, hierarchies, and measures that serve as a reliable, reusable foundation for reporting across the organization
  • Apply strong design principles (e.g., visual hierarchy, colour usage, information density) to make complex data easy to understand at a glance

Data Analysis

  • Work with curated datasets to uncover insights that inform business decisions
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers
  • Apply appropriate analytical techniques to support recommendations and decision-making

AI & Emerging Analytics Tools

  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance reporting workflows and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and surface insights more effectively
  • Stay current on AI developments and recommend practical applications within the reporting environment

Project & Data Quality Management

  • Manage reporting deliverables using tools such as Monday.com
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency through regular validation and audits
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with upstream data teams
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and standards

Communication & Presentation

  • Develop presentations that summarize key findings, insights, and recommendations
  • Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable reporting solutions
  • Assist in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) by providing data insights and recommendations
