CAA has been my go-to for travel insurance every time I leave Canada. I always feel well-protected and more at peace when I use CAA for trips.

Frequently asked questions

It’s important to contact your credit card company before you travel to find out what type of coverage your credit card provides (emergency medical, trip cancellation and interruption insurance, for example) and if you’re eligible for coverage.

Knowing the right questions to ask isn’t always easy. We’ve created a "Know Your Coverage Checklist" to help guide you when you call your credit card company. This list of questions will help ensure that you have a clear understanding of what may or may not be covered.

You can still get travel insurance with pre-existing medical conditions, as long as you’ve been stable for three or six months. If you’re 70 and over, you will be eligible to purchase our travel insurance for seniors.
