Oil gives your car better mileage and a longer life, plus it saves you money by lowering repair costs. CAA Members can book their Mobile Oil Change appointment through our trusted CAA automotive partner, Easy Tire. They’ll come to your home or place of work, whenever it suits your schedule.
Things to know before booking
- Please note: Between October 3 to December 20, Mobile Oil Change is only available in conjunction with a Mobile Tire Change appointment.
- CAA Mobile Oil Change is only available in Greater Ottawa. Appointments must be booked online, at least 48 hours in advance.
- Bookings will not be accepted through our call centres. Appointments must be scheduled Monday through Saturday between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
- Log in to your CAA My Account.
- Click 'Book Now' and proceed with the booking process.
- After completing the necessary steps, you will receive a confirmation email.

Mobile Oil Change FAQ
It is best to follow your manufacturer's recommended oil change interval. These regular oil changes help to give your car a longer life by keeping any unwanted particles from travelling to your engine, potentially causing damage.
CAA's Mobile Oil Change includes a 23+ point inspection:
- Window sticker applied
- Dashlight check
- Check horn
- Windshield washer pump check
- Windshield wiper inspection
- Windshield inspection: chip/cracks
- General engine bay cleanliness
- Check power steering fluid level
- Check brake fluid level
- Battery check
- Washer fluid top-up
- Check engine air filter
- Exterior bulb check: headlights hi/lo
- Exterior bulb check: rear running lights
- Exterior bulb check: turn signals front/rear
- Exterior bulb check: hazard lights
- Interior bulb check: cabin front
- Check cabin air filter
- Lubricate hinges: hood/trunk/hatch/doors
- Tire check: tire description/condition/tread depth
- Set tires and spare to placard
- Torque check to specs
- Check fuel tank cap fit
- Reset maintenance minder
- Dipstick check
- Coolant level check
Our trusted partner, Easy Tire has certified technicians that extract the oil using a vacuum mechanism rather than draining the oil. To prevent any oil spills, they place an absorption mat that covers the front and under the engine bay, covering all the area where there can be spills.
We will not perform the service on the street for the safety of our technicians. The Member must make alternative arrangements for a safe location.
The service technician will have wheel chocks, so as long as the slope is not extreme, there should not be a problem.
Due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather, the appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled based on availability.
Yes, the technician will reset the sensors before completing the service.

CAA Mobile Oil Change is currently only available in select regions of Greater Ottawa. Service in Greater Ottawa includes postal codes that start with: K1B, K1C, K1E, K1G, K1H, K1J, K1K, K1L, K1M, K1N, K1P, K1R, K1S, K1T, K1V, K1W, K1Y, K1Z, K2A, K2B, K2C, K2E, K2G, K2H, K2J, K2K, K2L, K2M, K2P, K2R, K2S, K2T, K2V, K2W, K4A, K4M and K4P. And in North Gower, Richmond, Kars, Dunrobin, and Carp. CAA Mobile Oil Change appointments are available Monday through Saturday between 8AM to 5PM EST. In extreme weather conditions, such as thunderstorms or high winds, we may need to reschedule to keep our technicians safe. In a situation where different weather resources have a difference in temperature, CAANEO with make the final determination. Other conditions apply. Service is only available to active CAA Members in good standing (Membership paid in full by Membership expiry date). CAA Mobile Oil Change is only available for cars, SUVs, and trucks up to 1/2 ton. We cannot service commercial vehicles, trailers, RVs or campers at this time. Service can take up to 90 minutes to perform. CAA Member must be present at time of appointment and remain during the duration of the service. Wiper Blade Inspection is an optional service. Option to replace wipers during the service is available for an additional cost. Pricing depends on make and model of vehicle. Mobile Oil Change is available on residential driveways with adequate space (3 metres or 10 feet) for the service technician to work safely. CAA and our automotive partners reserve the right to refuse service in the event the vehicle is deemed unsafe by the service technician. Due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather, the appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled based on availability. CAA Mobile Oil Change will not count as an entitlement to the Membership.
