Air Passenger Help Guide

The Government of Canada has implemented federal rules to help protect air travellers for many years, but for the average traveller, these rules can be difficult to navigate and understand. CAA has launched an all-new interactive guide to help travellers during flight disruptions to better understand the policies in place.

This easy-to-use tool will help travellers answer questions and concerns including:

  • Am I entitled to compensation if my flight is delayed?
  • What are you entitled to if an airline cancels your flight?
  • How much does your flight have to be delayed to get compensation?
  • How do I claim airline compensation?

Before your next flight, bookmark the Air Passenger Help Guide so you can easily find and use the rules that apply to you if something goes wrong.
