CAA Social Check-In Calls

CAA is there for you, and your loved ones.

During this time of self-isolation and social distancing, we realize it is more important than ever to have human contact. For a limited time, CAA North & East Ontario (CAANEO) will offer social check-in calls to those who may be vulnerable or self-isolated during the COVID-19 pandemic. This service is available to the general public, not just CAA Members.

Our CAA staff will call between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., from Monday to Friday. These times and dates are subject to change, depending on call volume. The purpose of our calls is to provide social contact and ensure the individual is in good spirits.

Please note our CAA staff are not professional mental health advisors. If there are any concerns during the call, your CAA emergency contact could be notified or a call made to the appropriate health service provider.

Terms & Conditions for CAA NEO Social Check-in Calls

  • Social check-in call requests are available to general public (Members and non-members) that reside in Ontario
  • Please allow a minimum of 24 hours from the time your service request is submitted for a representative to respond
  • These calls will not count towards a service call on your CAA Membership account
  • All calls will be recorded and monitored for quality assurance and training purposes
  • CAANEO social check-in call service offering may be suspended at any time
  • CAANEO reserves the right to refuse a social check-in call request for any reason
  • Each form submission will serve as one call request and there will be a limit of calls per week per person depending on call centre volume
  • Call duration will vary depending on call centre capacity
